When the snow melts, Kopaonik switches to its summer schedule. In 2026 the season opened on 25 June and runs for about three months, until mid-September, with activities operating from 10:00 to 17:00. For cyclists that means open trails, cool mountain air at around 1,770 m — and lifts that can carry you and the bike uphill.

Rent a bike, ride the lifts
You don’t need your own bike. Ski Resorts of Serbia keeps 40 electric mountain bikes for hire; at the 2026 price list, one hour on an e-bike cost 1,400 dinars. Prices can change, so check the current list before you go.
Local tip
According to the owner, three flowy downhill trails near the center of the resort are a great way to start: smooth, rolling descents rather than extreme terrain. Ask for current trail conditions before you ride, and always wear a helmet.
More than biking
Between rides, the summer program is surprisingly varied: an alpine coaster, a zip line, mountain carting, tubing and an adventure park for kids, plus paragliding, archery, horse riding and rafting on the Ibar River. The Brzeće–Mali Karaman gondola and the Karaman Greben chairlift run on weekends for panoramic rides; the Pančićev vrh chairlift runs daily.
Skiing in July?
Kopaonik even lets you ski in July. A 900 m artificial slope at Krst, with a surface designed to feel like natural snow, opens every weekend from 10:00 to 17:00 — and skis are free with a valid ski pass.
The summer calendar has its own highlights: the Trail Race and the “Three Sides of Kopaonik” cycling race (both in late July in 2026), Blueberry Days at the start of August, and Porcini Mushroom Days in September. The national park also offers free guided hiking tours on selected summer mornings.
Where to stay
Our 22 m² studio in Konaci sits in the center of the resort, with shops, a pharmacy and restaurants within roughly 100 m and a kitchenette for an early breakfast before you ride. If you arrive by car, the garage on Kopaonik has around 350 spaces and, in summer, public parking is paid from 7:00 to 21:00.
